Will the movie ‘DOPE’ be this generation’s ‘House Party’?

Will the movie ‘DOPE’ be this generation’s ‘House Party’?

I recently seen an interview with Tyga stating that he would be in a new movie, supposedly this generation’s House Party. Read more about the plot here:

A critical hit and audience favorite out of the Sundance Film Festival, in DOPE, Malcolm (Shameik Moore) is carefully surviving life in a tough neighborhood in Los Angeles while juggling college applications, academic interviews, and the SAT. A chance invitation to an underground party leads him into an adventure that could allow him to go from being a geek, to being dope, to ultimately being himself.

Seems promising. The movie stars Zoe Kravitz, ASAP Rocky, Rick Fox, Tyga, Casey Veggies, Vince Staples, Kimberly Elise and a lot more. To make it more interesting is it’s produced and narrated by Forest Whitaker, and executive produced by Diddy and Pharrell.
