Well$ is back with sharp focus. Linking with Atlanta’s Metro Boomin and Alec Lomami, the 21 year-old rapper is delivering “Heaven’s Door,” which premiered via Billboard. The heavy-hitter is serving as the lead single for his upcoming EP, The Way I’m Living Makes My Mom Nervous. With the project due in late March, Well$ is also kicking off a tour beginning today, February 25th, at the Cake Shop in New York City, with four additional dates also on the bill.

“Heaven’s Door” is the North Carolina-bred, Congolese rapper’s latest offering, following loose singles “Coldest Heart,” “130,” and608AM in Cleveland.” “This is an anthem for all disenfranchised people in general and for my city in particular,” Well$ told Billboard. “We don’t get a lot hype regardless if we fuego or not, and this is just me telling my n—-s keep going and make our presence felt and break the door down if they don’t want to let us in… Carolina is coming, and goddammit young Metro trusts me.”
