Watch a clip from Jimi Hendrix’s biopic starring Andre 3000
Well if you’ve been living under a rock, the biopic of Jimi Hendrix starring Andre 3 Stacks or his government name André Benjamin will be releasing in a few days. The new movie is set in 1966 & 1967, when Hendrix left from New York City and ventured to London where he became a bonafide star.
[Previous: Outkast x Bun B hop on stage for the very first time (Video)]The film will also not feature any songs written by Hendrix due to the denial of Experience Hendrix LLC which is Hendrix’s Estate. So instead the movie will feature music shortly before the release of his album Are You Experienced.
