Louisville femcee Sasha Renee returns with ‘I Am Sasha Renee’

Sasha Renee – I Am Sasha Renee (Video)

Femcee and singer Sasha Renee hailing from Louisville wants her voice to be heard with her latest jam I Am Sasha Renee. The song will appear on her upcoming EP of the same name. Read more about the song and where the inspiration came from:

Sasha Renee releases the self titled single from her up and coming self titled EP, I Am Sasha Renee. Produced by OSYM Beats, the song was inspired by Bryson Tiller’s I Love Beyonce’ Too freestyle where Tiller gives a shout out to the femcee singing “Vote Sasha Renee nigga”.  At the time, Sasha Renee was up for best Female Hip-Hop Artist in Kentucky. Tiller and Sasha worked closely in their hometown of Louisville, Kentucky before the RnB artist’s Don’t single took him to the top of the billboards. Sasha Renee toggles rap lyrics and neo-soul vocals on this new single that has a smooth Hip-Hop/Soul vibe.

It’s time Sasha Renee hits a bigger stage this year. Check out the video for I Am Sasha Renee and sound off with your thoughts below.
