About Lil Richye: Lil Richye, was born in February 2005 as Richye Meshawn Porter Jr. He is the thrid eldest of his sibilings, with two older sisters and two younger brothers. His primary inspirations include KRS-One, LL Cool J, and Future. As a child music played a crucial role in his developmental years as a source for creative, self expression. He currently attends the Northwest School of the Arts where he is both on the honor roll and part of the leadership program. Richye is currently a junior usher in his church, as well as a member of the junior choir ensemble and praise team. Outside of church, he is a member of a musical trio along with his younger brothers known as PB3. The three young artists have set out on a path to bring passion, positivity, and age appropriate, uplifting themes to kids their age; something they say that is lacking in today’s music industry.
