North Carolina’s Jalen Santoy Wanders a Post-Apocalyptic Hellscape in “Off The Glass”

Jalen Santoy – Off The Glass (Video)

The young upstart Jalen Santoy brought the squad with him for his new video Off The Glass. And not just speaking about his video. What I’m speaking about is everyone included in the Off The Glass.

The song is produced by Toronto’s Daniel Worthy, who’s produced for Drake and Tory Lanez and A Plus Filmz who’s directed for ScHoolboy Q. All of that combined with the sharp flows and dark video combines for some heat rock. Read what Jalen has to say about the video:

Jalen explains some of the imagery in the video: “The skeleton bones express that we’re stepping into new ground. Something that you haven’t seen before. The video isn’t storyboard driven it’s more about the aesthetic. The track is a little bit different from the video, so I wanted to give a different perspective. The bones represent the old soundscape of what people feel is trendy right now. I’m trying to get across that rap was intended to have a purpose, bringing your brain to the forefront.”
