“I feel like I’m home when I’m in New York City” raps Mikey Dollaz on the hook for “Biggie and Diddy.” Having propelled himself to the forefront of Chicago’s drill scene and working with a variety of cutting edge electronic producers to develop a sound of his own, the new music video finds the Picture Me Rollin rapper partying on Manhattan rooftops, stunting in the crowded city streets, and enjoying some authentic cuisine at Joe’s Shanghai in Chinatown before celebrating New Year 2016 with friends. “We ended up going to some dope ass party where everybody was cool as fuck and high as air,” he tells Mass Appeal in their premiere with a Q&A. “It was so live I had to get some shots while turning up in the crowd.” Produced by Anti-G of Planet Mu and Rwina Records, “Biggie and Diddy” finds Mikey Dollaz bringing his trademark hard-hitting high-energy flow over pinging synths and understated trap drums.
