The Houston rapper Maxo Kream has a new mixtape dropping in a few days which features names like Joey Bada$$, The Sauce Twinz and Fredo Santana. Read more on the release below:
“Cell Boomin” is an aggressive track, yet it drives with its minimal, cell phone-sampling production. “The ups of trappin’ on the phone is that people don’t knock on your door,” Maxo Kream explains, adding “the downs is that they blow your phone up when you’re out.” Maxo tells Complex in their premiere post that he met the featured Awful Records rapper at Fools Gold Day Off in Miami, and he chose to get him on the track because “he knows about phones and Instagram bitches.”
