In our latest edition of Process, we take you behind the scenes with Johnathan Rakhsha, the man behind Maison Raksha. Attributing the recent rise in popularity of grills to hip-hop and rap culture, Rakhsha operates in Toronto and started his business right when he made his first set of teeth. Trained as a professional traditional goldsmith, Rakhsha reined in the power of social media and founded @maisonraksha on Instagram, posting pictures of iconic people from the ’90s wearing grills, captioned with “I can make this, give me a call.” And so, he got his first client. Now, Rakhsha counts Theophilus London, A$AP Rocky and more as clients.
