Logic – Under Pressure (Album Review)
Been bumping this Logic Under Pressure for about a week and a half now. When I first heard the single Driving Ms. Daisy about a month ago, I thought we’d be in for Drake 2.0 on this project, but I gotta say I’m pleasantly surprised with the finished product Logic has put out.
First of all, what stood out was the production which was A-1. I’m talking about from start to finish. Bangers with elaborate bridged hooks. Second, I love the idea of having the “answering service lady ” on the interludes, definitely original. And last but not least, the homie was spitting. I love to hear real creativity come together .
If you’re looking for favs check out Metropolis. This is the closest to an Outkast song you’re going to get without Dre and Big on the track, real old ATL flavor. Also check out Nikki; if you ever had to quit a substance you’ll dig this one.
All in all, I say this joint is a half ham sammich away from being perfect. Definitely check it out. Trillmatic.
