EP 045: Bad and Boujee, Black Twitter & our Super Bowl Halftime Show (Podcast)

We’re back Trillions, for the first episode of the New Year 2017! Yes, we took a week off. Why Not? We deserved it.

We kick this episode off talking about certain types of friends to leave in 2016. The ones who throw you under the bus to make themselves look good. But this also goes for women, who talk bad about their men to their girlfriends and never speak on the good things. We also reminisce on Lethal Weapon movies and why Lethal Weapon 4 has an underrated scene. And we wonder why Hollywood continues to make these wack ass TV shows based off successful movies.

Riggs & Murtaugh vs Jet Li

Migos just scored the number one song in the country for ‘Bad and Boujee’ all thanks to the internet and Donald Glover’s Golden Globes speech, pushing them over the top. We also talk about Donald Glover’s many talents again but we really hit on the Migos and their buzz at the moment. We discuss whether or not Migos should be elevated to another status in the rap game.

Bad and Boujee from Migos

We also talk ‘Hidden Fences’ and Black Twitter’s response. Their jokes came non-stop when they responded to Yahoo Finance’s fiasco with the hashtag #NiggerNavy. And while we’re on the topic of Twitter, President Elect Donald Trump has become a bonafide Twitter troll. In recent weeks he’s attacked numerous people including Arnold Schwarzenegger, China and Meryl Streep.

Bigg UU makes the request to get rid of the pop acts for the Super Bowl Halftime concert and tells us why he would rather see YG, Nipsey, Migos, Childish Gambino and Rae Sremmurd perform. We both imagine what it would be like if this were to actually happen.

We also talk the celebrity deathmatch between Chris Brown and Soulja Boy. No, really. A real boxing match is going down between the two soon, with Mike Tyson training Chris Brown and Floyd Mayweather training Soulja Boy. We also touch on the breakup between Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj, the proposed fight between 21 Savage and 22 Savage and the Last Boy Scout starring Bruce Willis and Damon Wayans.
