Over the past few years of touring and working in the studio with K Camp, Migos, and other rising acts, Genius has emerged from the shadows as one of Atlanta’s primary tastemakers. Today, the Jamaican-born, ATL-bred DJ/Artist recruits fellow Eastside native Scotty ATL for “Never Satisfied,“ a highlight from Genius’ A Eastside Story: Deluxe Edition LP, a collaborative project with Atlanta newcomer Felipe, which hits stores tomorrow, June 17th. Premiered today by 2DopeBoyz, “Never Satisfied” finds the two emcees rapping about an ambitious woman, but the phrase “Never Satisfied” can also represent a motto for Genius’ project and career-to-date.
