E-40 continues to drop hits year after year and delivers “Petty,” another banger, which finds 40 and Kamaiyah excoriating haters and other frivolous figures over minor keyboards and a minimalist bass drum. Produced by J Hawk, known for New Boyz‘ hit record “You’re A Jerk,” “Petty” sets off momentum for the release of 40’s upcoming duo album pack The D-Boy Diary: Book 1 & 2 dropping November 2016.
