About Khemistry: Introducing Janay Hall, better known by “Khemistry.” Khemistry is a rising multi-talented female rapper that has blessed this music industry with her inspiring and different lyrical skills. She is also a songwriter and has written and helped produce music for other local artists. She introduces real life situation to her music and brings the experiences she has faced in life out her tone. Khemistry also has a side where she can somewhat be also diversity with her music skills and bring out a nice R&B song also with help of some of her peers in the industry. She dives into a lot of different kinds of music other then rap. She has done music with a soft melody rap to a hard guitar rocking intro. She has done it all. She has built her career on nothing but music that not only feels right to herself but to her fans and what they want, and thats by bringing also that club banging , street anthem up-tempo flavor that everyone loves.

This Chicago rising artist came into music at the age of eight, when she would just take anything in her surrounding like a remote, hair brush or anything and just start breaking down singing Mary J Blige in front of her friends and family, at any given time. Family knew nope she couldn’t sing, but when she would rap anything from Lil Bowwow, or Lil Romeo or even MC Lyte everyone knew at that moment music and rap would be what she loved to do. She took pride in MC Lyte and Queen Latifah music at a young age. Just the “Hard basing and Anthem music” they was doing in their early age of music was exciting and she found herself looking to them as great role models in this industry.

Khemistry has been somewhat compared to Chicago’s very own Lupe Fiasco, with the Mellow rap style and inspiring lyrics. She takes that as a great accomplishment, but also strives to bring her own style and individuality to her music so that others can relate to her style and creativity to music.

Khemistry’s passion for music has brought her this far in her career and does not look to be stopping any soon. She know’s that with this being a male dominated industry in the rap category that she has to out everything she has into every project she completes and be very competitive. She has already faced some negativity about making it in the industry due to her sexuality but she uses that as a stepping stone and doesn’t dwell on it at all. She takes pride in everything she does and know’s by the grace of GOD an her effort that anything can be accomplished regardless of her sexuality.

With her mind-set and ambitious courage she can take the world by storm. All she wants to do is be a role model and great aspiration to other’s. Khemistry does not just try to target a certain group of individuals. She makes music that even a older individual can relate to. She barely uses profanity in her music, not saying its wrong but feels like she doesn’t need to in order to be successful. Janay Hall better known as “Khemistry” is ready for whatever comes her way. She is willing to do whatever to get to the top an to be successful in her career. She envisions having songs with her idol one day MC Lyte and even another rapper she looks up to like J.Cole , Nicki Minaj, T.I, and Kanye West and even some R&B singers who she loves. Khemistry is just ready to be another successful artist hailing out the city of Chicago “The City Of Dreams”. For more info on Khemistry, be sure to visit her Facebook fan page.
