A-1’s THURLIAN Project Trailer (Video)
Back in November, the San Francisco rapper known as A-1 released his double video Doing The Most/Carry The Ghost, which was shot during the celebration/riots of the San Francisco Giants winning the World Series.

Rapper A-1 has enlisted some of music’s most forward-thinking producers to contribute to his Thurlian album, which is slated to release March 5, 2015. He announces the conceptual project with an enigmatic promo video and new website launch. “My idea is that if one day, modern human beings can finally figure out a way to live peacefully amongst each other, develop clean sustainable methods for gathering energy and food, and can live in perfect harmony with mother earth, we will have entered a new stage in human evolution,” A-1 explains. “Thurlian would be the name of that new species that we would become, just as Homo-erectus was the name of the stage that came before modern man.”
